Pray that God would raise up governors and state legislatures who fear Him and desire to do what is right in His eyes.

The California legislature has passed a bill (AB2567) that seeks to designate May 22 as Harvey Milk Day. Harvey Milk was a gay rights activist and member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. If this bill is signed into law by the governor, public schools and educational institutions will be encouraged to observe this day and carry out ‘commemorative exercises’ on this date so that students will learn about the life of Harvey Milk and his beliefs. As summer is now nearing to an end, let’s pray for our students as they go back to their schools this fall. Many have returned from missions trips, retreats, and other conferences. Please pray for college students as they return to their campuses. Ask God to encourage and strengthen these believers that they may be bold and passionate about seeing revivals on their campuses. In the past, young people started many prayer movements and revivals. We believe that God wants to see this again. Many students are attending public universities, where relativism and pluralism run rampant and no absolute truth is found.
